Das Filmteam ist weitestgehend und in allen zentralen Positionen von FLINTA*-Personen (Female, Lesbian, Intersexuell, Non-binary, Trans, Asexuell) besetzt. Wir haben es satt, über Quoten zu reden. Was wir brauchen ist eine nachhaltige Veränderung der Filmbranche. Das können wir nur schaffen, wenn wir die Perspektive wechseln, bestehende Rollenbilder hinterfragen und die patriarchalen Strukturen dieser Branche einreißen.

The film team is largely and in all central positions occupied by FLINTA* persons (Female, Lesbian, Intersexual, Non-binary, Trans, Asexual). We are tired of talking about quotas. What we need is a sustainable change in the film industry. We can only achieve this if we change our perspective, question existing role models and tear down the patriarchal structures of this industry.

BODIES WE TAKE TO THE STREETS wurde von Leftvision produziert. Leftvision ist ein Videokollektiv, das seit über zehn Jahren Videos und Filme zu gesellschaftlich relevanten Themen produziert. Wir stellen gesellschaftliche Probleme nicht nur dar, sondern haben zum Ziel auf solidarische Weise immer auch die Entwicklungen und Möglichkeiten von Widerstand und Protest sichtbar zu machen. Wir verstehen Film und Video als Medium sozialer und kultureller Meinungsbildung und sehen darin auch dessen Chance öffentlich wirksam zu werden. Unsere Filme erzählen von innen heraus und erzählen aus der Perspektive sozialer Bewegungen und ihren Akteuer*innen.

BODIES WE TAKE TO THE STREETS was produced by Leftvision. Leftvision is a video collective that has been producing videos and films on socially relevant topics for over ten years. We not only present social problems, but also aim to make the developments and possibilities of resistance and protest visible in a solidary way. We understand film and video as a medium of social and cultural opinion-forming and see in it also its chance to become publicly effective. Our films tell stories from within and from the perspective of social movements and their actors.
